The
objective of the International Deaf Leather Contest is
to choose a leatherboy, a leatherwoman and a leatherman
who are deaf or hard of hearing to represent International
Deaf Leather (IDL).
The titleholders of International Deaf Leather will represent the Deaf Leather
Community and will be expected to make periodic appearance at Deaf and Leather
Events during the time they hold the title. They also will be Ambassadors for
the Deaf and Leather Communities.
We are looking for individuals who are intelligent, articulate and able to participate
in both the leather and non-leather pansexual communities. These persons must
have a good knowledge of the Deaf culture and the Leather/SM/Fetish communities,
although they are not required to be actively involved in any one organization.
International Deaf Leather sponsors the International Deaf Leather Contest annually.
In July 2007, it will take place in Altanta, Georgia. IDL 2007 Contestant
